Am I able to drop off/ collect my items?
Yes! We have a laundry located in central Auckland at 29 Enfield Street in Eden Terrace. We have customer parking, park in the driveway next to our shop.
Do you have parking?
Yes, park in the driveway next to our shop or in the loading zone outside the shop.
When will my items be collected?
Please check out our delivery map, click on the segments to find out when we will be in your area.
How long does it take from the time my laundry is picked up to the time it is delivered back to me?
Turnaround times depend on a few factors such as the process required and also the day your item is collected. We do not process private laundry in the weekend so if you place a booking on a Friday it will be returned to you after Monday.
Laundry- You will receive your laundry back to you within 3 working days- need an item back quicker? Let us know, we will often be able to accommodate these requests.
Dry Cleaning- Dry-cleaning takes 3-5 working days for garments/ clothing items. Furnishings can take up to 5 days as we need to allow adequate time for airing and drying.
Do you offer express services?
We can provide express services for laundry, i.e. wash and iron and wash dry fold. Express services are only offered in-store and are not possible with pickup and delivery. If you have an express requirement please give us a call first to ensure we can help you out. Please note, extra charges may apply and we are unable to provide express services for dry cleaning.
How should I send you my laundry?
There are a few things we ask you to do-
1. Pop your items that require cleaning in a bag
- Keep separate drycleaning from the laundry, ironing from the wash and fold services- if you don’t have a laundry bag a rubbish bag or similar will do then. We sell laundry bags here.
- Ensure all items provided for servicing are suitable for general laundry
2. If you are sending a wash dry fold- Sort washing into lights and darks if applicable and then select the number of wash loads at checkout.
We will always take the up-most care in looking after your goods, however, we accept no responsibility if there is any bleeding or colour transfer during the laundry process. Items sent as one wash dry fold will be treated as one load.
Ensure that the number of items being laundered specified is correct
Ensure that any items, i.e. pens etc.. are removed from pockets prior to sending them to us.
Do you sort my laundry for me?
No, we don't, please ensure laundry is sorted into how you would like it cleaned. Here are some suggestions of how we would sort out our own laundry to ensure all items are safe during the cleaning process.
- Separate the lights from the darks to ensure there is no colour run
- Make sure all items that are being sent to us are suitable to go in the dryer
- We recommend keeping towelling separate from clothing, towelling can wear clothing during the cleaning process.

*Important- If you are doing a light and a dark load this is two wash dry folds, please make sure to pay for two wash dry folds at the checkout.
Can you remove all stains?
We do our very best to remove all stains with our special treatment solutions, however, it is not guaranteed that all stains can be removed. If you have a specific stain you would like us to pay attention to let us know in the shipping instructions, if you also know what the stain is that can also help us out.
What if I am not going to be at home when the driver comes to pick-up or drop off my items?
Please leave your items somewhere safe that our driver can access. Make sure you leave a delivery note in the shipping instructions. I.e. items will be left in the carport which is at the end of the driveway.
How much does delivery cost?
We service most of Auckland. Some areas we come to every day and others only certain days. Check out our delivery map here to get a better idea of when we are in your area.
Where are my items cleaned?
The Pressing Room is part of the LaundryCorp Group. We have our own laundry located at 29 Enfield Street. We have owned and operated our own commercial laundry since 2008. For dry cleaning, we work with a trusted partner who we have a long standing relationship with.
